Vanessa law and I were approached by Jess Loh, a Melbourne-based singer and songwriter, to create a lyrics video for her new coming EP “Strange Strange Land”. This folk-rock acoustic takes you on a beautifully bewildering journey to a bizarre dream land.

Jess told us that she wrote the song from a dream, so we designed the opening scene to start from night time when she sets off her journey, then arrives during day time to another land. Towards the end, we take her back to night time, at exactly where she begins.

For this project I handled art direction, most of illustrations, and animation of a few scenes which required 3D perspective. It was fun creating upside-down worlds.
